Hi everyone,
I'm new to this blog so I thought I'd introduce you to my website and photography workshop holidays.
I'm a very experienced snapper now using a Nikon D200 but also use Fujifilm and Pentax.
A few years ago I met and made good friends with a top professional photographer called Faruk Akbas.
If you have seen the new Craghopper ad campaign they use his work almost exclusively. Faruk is an artist who is a freelance photographer, artistic director of a travel magazine and lecturer in photography.
We are very fortunate that he is passionate about his work and travels widely from his home in rural Turkey to capture the various cultures he finds.
The holidays we run are limited to only five one week workshops each year due to his diary. We run them when the weather is fine and warm but out of the main holiday season. The light is always reliable and perfect for photography.
We provide luxury accommodation, top quality projection sessions and take you to great locations from beaches to 3000m high mountains (that's three time higher than anything in the UK). The people are our most important asset. Hospitality is fantastic and the opportunity for portraits, cutural observations etc are unsurpassed. faruk will also lecture after dinner on Light and Composition, the two most important aspects of photography. We spend most of our time shooting and do not spend any time on Photoshop/Lightroom etc. which we consider wastes valuable time when there are endless subjects to capture.
Do have a look at the website, we're entering our second year. Even if you don't book a holiday we'd be pleased for any feedback.
We offer a £500 yes £500 discount when two photographers share a bedroom and if your partner want to do something else entirely, we can arrange alternative activities. Non photo partners stay free and pay only for travel.
Small groups usually 6-10 are perfect and enable you to have plenty of 1 to 1 with Faruk who is inspirational.

Cheers for now.
