I have a Canon i950 whic has served me well over the last few years. Recently I returned to printing on Ilford Galerie paper (Gloss) whic is the equivilent, according to the guide to Photo Paper Pro. However with tyhe printer set up for that paper I end up with a lot of stripes as if the printer head is skiping. To cut a long story short I tried the same print on a lighter paper and everything was OK. I then tried the Ilford paper again by leaving the printer set up for the lighter paper. Whoopee! it worked fine with very pleasing reults.

Does anyone have any suggestions about why this problem may have occured.

Cheers,

Barry

Canon i950 Photo Printer can get a good resolution of up to 4800 × 1200 dpi. This will certainly increase the quality of your photo.

i950 is dramatically faster than any photo inkjet printer that I had. It was up to 6 times as fast as Epson's similarly priced 925 photo printer upon comparing it with equivalent software settings.
