Hey all, I just had a wild idea (really, most of mine are). Why don't we take a day, set it aside, and dedicate ourselves to making ten comments on other people's pictures?

There have been several discussion threads lately lamenting the lack of comments, so here's our chance to have one special day to say nay to that syndrome, and comment, comment, comment.

Well, I dwell in a universe of free choice, so of course I offer no suggestion that this should be compulsary (sp?), or that there will be any harsh words or scowly faces directed toward anybody who chooses not to.

My choice is to make a personal resolution to do this. And to try making the comments worth something. For me, personally, I will exercise my ability as a commenter by trying to comment on 5 pictures I like, and 5 that don't do that much for me.

Anyway, that's my wild idea.

P.S. I also needed to comment on something, because I'm trying to see if something happened to my avatar; it didn't appear with one of my later comments. Side-effect of the new server, perhaps?


OH! My gosh, I almost forgot, the day I'm putting aside for myself to do this is July 1. Cheers!

I like the idea but Im going to comment on ten randoms. New pics get plenty of attention but the old ones lie in an old photo graveyard, so how about bringing some of them back to life? Just a thought.

I like the idea of 10 randoms. We get stuck in a rut and many of the old images are stunning and give inspiration.
