I put my 128 mb SanDisk flashcard into a kiosk at Kinko's in order to print out some photos. The kiosk read the chip, started displaying the photos then an error came up and the pic's disappeared. After putting the chip back in the camera it reads "memory card error". I've tried it several times with the same error message. Are my pic's gone? Is the chip now garbage? What gives?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Whoa...that is horrible. Adobe has a program for recovering lost pictures. I think I would try that with a card reader and your memory card.

Get this free software:

http://www.pcinspector.de/smart_media_reco.../uk/welcome.htm

Format the card in your camera.

Ask the software to recover the files on the camera drive letter.

It should recover all undamaged images...
