I was just told by Nikon that View Nx would not run under Mac OS 10.5.6 on a new iMac 24 inch 4 gig with standard nvidia 9400.

You might want to try Picasa3 out then... It now allows for Raw to be shown. Its a free download that doesn't clog your system.
