I am planning to buy a new digital camera to fulfill my hobby in photography. First of all, i dont have any experience in photography but my friend say that i used to take good photographs.

I dont know where to start and which camera should i buy. Kindly let me know how to proceed and which camera should i choose.

As you are a beginner I think you should go for compact digital cameras. But if you prefer to go for DSLR then I would suggest you Nikon D40.Its a nice one and is very quick on taking pics. Have a look at http://www.checkcost.co.uk/digital-cameras/c/4368
Here you may find one at a reasonable price.
I would also suggest you to check reviews for the following cameras: Nikon 3D, Nikon 700D, Beginner/'Amateur': Pentax K200D, Nikon D60. Hope this helps you!
