Well, now that I have your attention ...
I am a virgin when it comes to setting up my new Canon SX10 IS camera. My pictures are NOT clear, the size of the pictures are all different when I download them to my computer and I am so confussed. I guess I should have bought a Fisher Price camera, but I have this one now. I had a Kodak 5 megapixel and I did not have such a difficult time.
Could anyone give me good settings for clear outdoor pictures and/or close ups? Even my indoor pictures look horrible! My pictures are all fuzzy and blotchy looking. I am beginning to take it personally ...
HELP! Please?

Hi Mojha,
I'm a photogrpaher and just joined this forum.. I know it sounds terrible, but even the best of photographers will have to read the MANUAL. Yes - it stinks, but its really the way to go. read the manual, test, adjust, test again, read the manual some more... I've spent days figuring out high end cameras frantically trying to learn before I have to be on location for a shoot.
Good Luck!

chickpixl is right. The user manual will explain everything you need to operate the camera effectively. There is a learning curve at the beginning. Just be patient and you'll be rewarded.
PS. I bet the green AUTO mode works in most situation.
Good luck with your photography!

Thank you one and all. Sadly, I have read the manual and it may as well be written in Greek, but I keep plugging along. Someday it will all come together. I have finally figured out Super Maco and I love it. Now I have to sort out my issues with indoor pictures. Auto - Unless I want to automatically be discussed - really is touch and go. Once again - Thank you and I appreciate your support.
