I have a canon 450d and Aperture 2 but I cannot get Aperture 2 to read my RAW files from the camera. Does anyone know of a plan to release an update that will allow aperture to read the canon 450d raw format? It's pretty frustrating, there is a whole lot of silence coming from apple about this.

You will need to use the software which came with the camera; if you no ,longer have it, you can download it from the Canon site.
I am in the same position with my Canon Powershot S45 - raw converters for older, 'non-serious' cameras are low on the priority lists for new software.
