Hi there,
Need a bit of advice please.
I have a Minolta 800si film camera(with vertical grip) with both a standard and a zoom lens(75-300) and 5400HS flash. I am looking to buy either the Sony 350/380, which will be compatable with my Minolta flash and lenses or a Canon 450? If I was starting from scratch I would probably buy the Canon. Do I 'bite the bullet' and buy the Canon? Any views out there please.

I such as the styling, but not the brown, or the strap loop being enclosed on one side but not the other, it looks a bit cleaner without so lots of buttons on it too. The new A280 seems to be same spec as the old A200 but with a face lift.

Sony has announced three new entry-level DSLRs. The A230, A330 and A380 replace the Alpha 200, 300 and 350. The restyled cameras offer new ergonomics and easy-to-use interfaces, but retain the underlying specification of the predecessor models. As before, the basic model is a 10MP DSLR, the intermediate model adds Sony's fast live view system and the range-topping model gets a 14.2MP sensor.
