Hello

I am off on a long travelling holiday and need a camera. Previously I have broken two compacts so this had led me to believe I needed a tough camera - or to take more care over my cameras.

That was until I saw canons latest offer on the sx200.

My choice is between the above
the tough 8000
the powershot d10
panasonic tf1.

I realise the last 3 are very different types of cameras... and lots depends on what I need.
Can anyone comment on any of these cameras?

Cheers

The Camera Tough Enough for Your Next Adventure.
For those with a taste for adventure, there's a camera as bold as the active life you lead. It's the Canon PowerShot D10. Waterproof, freezeproof and shockproof; it's tough enough to take what you dish out. Plus it's got all the high performance features you expect from a Canon digital camera. You've got 12.1 megapixels of resolution plus all of Canon's powerful, state-of-the-art imaging technologies so you can capture your epic experiences in breathtaking color and awesome detail.

I'll go for the Olympus Tough 8000.
The Canon D10 has just 3x zoom while Olypus got 3.6x.
The Panasonic TS1 is waterproof to only a depth of 10 feet while the other two can be at 33 feet.

Hope this help! rolleyes.gif
