hello all. i'm new to this sight but hope to start making good use of it starting with this question. when i put my e-410 into shutterpriority mode, and set the speed either fast or slow, it takes quite a while for the shutter to release. obviously this presents problems when trying to capture a fast moving subject. it works perfectly when in scenes mode but then i don't have creative control. can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong as this doesn't happen with my mates canon or nikon.. thanks

Are you shooting in Live View mode? If so, the mirror is always locked up, slowing down the shutter release. If you shoot ordinarily (i.e. through the viewfinder), you won't have the problem.

'In fact, mirror lock-up is required for Live View as the mirror normally blocks the Live View sensor. ' at http://reviews.photographyreview.com/blog/...510-pro-review/
