Full Version: Help Me For Crisp Clear Picture
PhotographyBLOG Forums > General > Open Discussion

I own a Sony alpha 350 DSLR camera. I use 3.5-5.6/18-70 and DT 4-5.6/55-200 lenses which was in the body+lens package.

I am trying all the tips given in photography books, blogs etc but still can not get crystal clear picture. When I submit to stock photography, they reject my pictures by saying it is not clear enough at 100% zoom.

I use tripod for stability. Day pictures taken in bright light with fast shutter speed also is not giving that crisp clear picture. I have bought an external flash Sony HVL-F58AM which also is not helping.

I am an amateur photographer by hobby but want to achieve a professional grade.

Please help ! rolleyes.gif

Thank you Bridget for your helping hand.

I tried to post my picture but it is not uploading. Do I need to be paying member to upload?

Will a small image give you the idea about the problem?

Dear Bridget,

I have upgraded my account but still unable to upload big image. I'll try tomorrow. However, I've added smaller images (2)

hi there... its possible that the file size of your pictures are big, you could try resizing and then try uploading.

Hello. Your picture won't load if it's more than 800 pixels to a side. Hope this helps.

Dear Bridget,

I have posted some pics. Any idea? Is it because of the lens? My technique?

I wouls suspect that it is because you are using a standard kit lens, which is fine for day to day photography, but for work which is to be submitted you would need to be using something much better, going towards a pro-standard spec.
