Robert Burley, a Canadian photographer, installed a 66-foot long photographic print on the façade of the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal.

I find the subject of the installation very interesting. It is an image of a polaroid print that shows the implosion of Kodak film processing plant in France. To me this symbolizes the impact that digital photography has had on architecture, since it led to the destruction of many film processing plants around the world.

Youtube has a video of the installation process, as well as many videos of Kodak plants being imploded, such as this one.

Interesting how technological developments in one field can affect a somewhat unrelated field !

Quite interesting. I wonder what will happen with film the next few years and what people will create to remember it.
