Can anyone give me some input , i just cant decide on a lens, i use a Canon dlsr with the aps size sensor .
I shoot street photography , but i need a sharp contrasty lens should i buy a prime ef 20mm 2.8 the ef 24mm 2.8 or the ef-s 17- 55mm 2.8 is usm
i just cant decide can anyone give me some info that would help me make my choice im looking to get as much detail in the shadows as poss thanks to anyone who can help, i cant afford a canon L wide zoom thanks Bob

getting details in shadows isn't a feature of a lens, but rather of a camera. It's called a dynamic range. film cameras have highest dynamic range.

for street photography I personally use 17-40L at hyper focal distance.
