I would like some information on printers if anyone can help me ?
I am interested in starting a business printing digital photograps onto canvas and am not sure what type of printer I would need and also where can I get one from. I am in Canada by the way.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

If you search on the Canon HP and Epson websites for large format printers you will find many models which can print on canvas. Usually the websites can direct you to your nearest dealership too. They arent cheap and you will need to invest in software too, like RIP (raster image processor), to get the best results. I did look into these some time ago and found some university reports which were very helpful. They are called FLAAR. You can probably find them by Google. Hope this helps.

Speak to someone at www.esjdesigns.co.uk. I was thinking about buying a canvas printer but in the end decided that it would mean priting a lot of images to justify the cost. ESJ Designs did give me advice on which printers are suitable and which aren't. The starting price for a printer is about £1900. You need to do a lot of canvas printing to justify that sort of outlay.
