can anyone help with my dilemma
I am totally confused with what camera to purchase
I originally was looking at the canon 500d and the nikon d5000 then after talking to the sales staff at two different shops
am now looking at the sony a380 I like the way sony seems very user friendly as far as the on screen help and also with the live view available in every mode and also the way you can half press the button and auto focus. It seems like the closest camera to the point and shoot range
however I've been doing a lot of research and it seems the picture quality doesn't come close to the canon and nikon
especially when in the faster iso range

I like to take a variety of shots including my dogs running in the park and I'm not sure when I need the higher Iso will the picture be
any good
any help is appreciated
remembering I don't know alot about aperture and shutter speed but am willing to put in the work to learn
