I'm trying to track down a stockist of the Man & Media Inks tested by Digital Photo mag at the end of last year. The results were remarkably similar to Epson own brand inks, however, I understand some stockists claining to suply M&M did not in fact supply the genuine article. I believe the M&M inks were of German manufacture originally but have now trandferred production to China. Can anyone help, please?

Not heard of that brand before - do you have a link to the product or the article?

Found a copy of the article at ;
http://www.manandmedia.com/

The forum at http://www.dcmag.co.uk/ has someone from www.consumeit.co.uk / www.ink-spot.co.uk who states they sell them

biggrin.gif OK, I promised all the gen., when I'd bought and tested so:-
Supplier - Ink. Genuine Man & Media, from ConsumeIt, www.consumeit.co.uk, tel: 07855 502908.
Nice people, brilliant turnaround of order-literally overnight.
Prices - 5 T009 equiv for Epson 1290 - GBP14-99!! Yes, all 5 for 14-99!!
Quality - outstanding. You must by the 'Flushing cartridges to clear the Epson ink out of your printer - these come from Selectafont: www.selectafont.co.uk, Tel: 0118 988 5643. Again, brilliant service. They say they are running their stock down at present, but who knows, if enough people buy them....... anyway, very cheap and multiple uses from each cartridge. DO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, and you'll have no problem with your M&M inks.
In short, great quality, good rich colours, fine detail, if you can spot the difference between Epson & these, then good luck.
I know what I'm buying in future.
My thanks to fellow photobloggers who helped track down the article and the suppliers-great co-operative site.

Most of the epson compats are now made in China - some are still in the UK but to be honest print rite tend to be behind them all - if you are of an environmental bent though and dont want to compromise on quality another supplier is http://www.firstimpressionslastlonger.com not sure where they are sourced from but they are pretty good and very green...

I dont know if I should put this in as its not really about the original subject "But",,,,I have an old epson 64,I was sick of paying out extravagant prices for epson inks so went on to cheapies with dire results!...I have now found a supplierwho's product is outstanding!,,,colours are true, fantastic clarity ,quick drying ,all in all every bit as good if not better than the original epson product. The companys service is spot on ,delivery is always by return,and the prices are fantastic!,,,,the company is abitech-ink.co.uk ,hope you might find this of some use!...Ken

Hi There All
I use man and media inks all the time, the website I get them from is www.one4ink.com usually arrives within 48 hours of ordering and cant fault them.
If any of you know of somewhere I can purchase wide format compatible ink that is pigmented and not dye ink It would make my year. Also what the quality is like on it oppose to the Epson Ultrachrome
Cheers All
