I don't own a DSLR, but am working on it for 2010. So far just taken snaps on my Panasonic compact which holds up well enough, but I realise nowhere near enough to realistically further any portfolio!!
Strong interest now in the field and no particular love of one genre over another, everything deserves a look when you look at it the right way.
