I must add that these 'musher's' and their dogs live for this. The dog's can hardly contain themselves when getting ready for the starting point. Their enthusiasm is so contagious:)
Amazing shot - the expresions on each of the dogs and the way the lead dog is caught leaping forward captures their power and sheer enthusiasm - you can certainly see that they are in their element!
