Nice first up... a tad on the soft side (Think you were a tad too close, in trying to capture it) but still a good try! Smile!

Fabulous photo Steve. I like the close comp. The movement in the strings and fingers is great. This would look fantastic framed on the wall.

Thanks for all your positive comments.
I know it is soft, but is just how I wanted it, a single point of focus.
Actually, he is not moving at all, the effect that looks like the string movement is just due the very shallow depth of field on the lens (35 f1.4 at f1.4) and yes I do have it framed on my wall, despite him now playing double bass and bass guitar now!
