some day Maggi I will see one up close ? we did see them in Alaska,but didnt get as close as you did. like Alan said you are a lucky girl . Its like when I saw the Bobcat ? A once in a life time thing , that not very many people get to experience ?
Thanks Maggi for posting this one.... been awhile since I've seen one. Guess soon, shall have to make a trip home to veiw these magnificant bird of prey.
Vancouver Island has the blessing of these beautiful birds... and I miss seeing them free-fall while mating. It's a sight to see!!!!

Hi John ,Big D,Donna. Thanks all. Welcome home Kelly, meant to tell you a while back. Is it good to be stateside? I live almost on top of the wildlife preserve so they feel comfortable around here. Its awesome to see them soaring over the lake .Hi Alan, nothing compared to your bird shots but was awesome to see, Hi ya Charles, loved your bobcat. I saw quite a few of these fellows on the Homer spit along the beach in Alaska.
