I like a vivid colourful sunset as much as anyone, but what i really look for is some form of interaction between the landscape and sky, and It doesn't get much better than this for me.

Lovely image,super lead in lines with the sand.I may just have cloned out the white line in the sky as for me it is a little distracting Smile

thank you all for the kind words and feedback. i know what you mean about the white line, but its part of the story for me, the contrails are what become the cirrus lines below as they get moved along in the atmosphere, plus i try to keep my landscapes as i saw them rather than edit out any imperfections

Stunning, Jason. You have such a distinctive style, and I love that. The light and reflection on the furrows leave me spellbound. I love how the furrows pull you in and up. Oh, how I would love to walk barefoot on that beach, and in that light. So special is this imageThumbs Up!Cat

Im in agreement about the jet stream, I think it adds to the shot, the juxtaposition of the lines. Wonderful textures here. Awesome job S.
