Good results from the 7D. I am drawn to the sense of mystery here. Adding light to the light areas of the shot would change the feeling, but I'm not sure it would change it to the better or not. Possibly that would depend upon the individual viewer. I think making the dark areas lighter would bring out some noise, so that's to be avoided.
