Never been or seen the place. Wonderful skyline and city scene. But, I must say the capture gives me the sense that it is an empty, vacant, rather soulless place. Just an impression I get from the photo. But, it is a failing of mine. I turn my emotions "on" when viewing art. And, this is art.
Thanks a lot everyone, Bobwed this photo was taken at the Dubai Marina, I was alone (although it was the week end), it is true you don't get to see many pedestrians in Gulf cities in general but Dubai city centre is buzzing... with cars! Not my cup of tea but great for a weekend photo/shopping trip (in-your-face skyscrapers, fields of cranes, architectural megalomania). Somehow fascinating.
