I seem to be having a bad effect on everything at the moment...Lol!!! I took this shot 3 weeks ago and tried painting the jetty undersides with flash but it did not work well. I thought I would go back some time - BUT - a large section of the jetty was carried in away in last nights storm! So no more jetty shots.... :-(( It was pretty bad last night - the seas at Bangor were towering hulks and this was all in 1 degree and with 3 inches of rain and snow drifts and blizzards. Amazingly we kept our electricity but about 50,000 people here do not have any! Minor by the standards of most storms around the world but I still love natures extremes!
What fantastic light and great composition - I think the dark underside of the jetty works fine - the calm before the storm. Over here we have also been struck with gales a blizzards just when we thought spring had sprung - they call it the lambing storms - poor lambs arriving in the freezing snow.
