One from the wedding that i shot over the weekend.
you can see the whole gallery on my website www.jasonswain.co.uk
I found it a bit of a struggle in the very poor light and with my kit, but tried to stay true to my own style, any feedback or critique on the set is very welcome (you can tell me the truth, i can take it, i genuinely want to learn from the experience)
My usual apologies for not being around much, real life keeps demanding my attention.
Jason, I'd be extremely happy to have some photos such as you've done for a wedding. Myself, I've been asked to do weddings like three times, and I've run in terror from every offer. My studies both professional and anecdotal convinces me that that way lies my ruin. As such, I have nothing but respect for those who take on that impossible task. I applaud your successful triumph.
Love the look on the little boys face! I had a peek at your wedding shots, I think you've done yourself proud! Another srtring to your bow! I admire anyone who takes on a wedding shoot,it's such a big responsibility....it would fill me with dread! http://donnaapsey.zenfolio.com
This is a beautiful capture. The backlight is well handled with the shading on the boys face perfect. The composition in the scene and anecdotal tale it tells shows great sensitivity in your work. For me to offer any criticism beyond the obvious would be inappropriate since I am such a failed novice. I think your capture is awesome.
I laughed when I saw it, it made me think of the groom going to the gallows......a last smoke or drink before the end!Well done Jason!!
