Wonderful perspective capture, and crisp clear colors. Beautiful. Love the simplicity and oridinary. No reaching for that big, spectacular, one of a kind capture here. This capture shows what excellent photography really is. Thanks for the lesson.

This is the last comment from me for a couple days, as I have to go to Portland, OR, to take some pictures along a riverfront, or some such place. A friend will be guiding me.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, i remember getting more and more excited about this shot as i walked towards it down a very long slipway. I knew the comp i wanted and just had to wait for some obliging clouds to drift by, plenty of time to test the exposure and get a few sunrays in on it too.
This was used by the Daily Telegraph in a travel feature for Portugal 2010. Nice to have on the CV, but not a big earner once Getty had their cut of the pie, but i was still proud to see it in print!
