Maggi, I had quite a time trying to decide which of these three egret pics I enjoyed most. I finally decided on this one. Somebody on this site once told me that there is some sort of rule against photographing even numbered subjects, and every since then I've had a liking for even numbered subjects. I just like to rebel photographically, I guess. Also, I like that the near bird's eye is so much sharper, drawing me right to him (her?).

Thanks guys, focus was aimed at the front egret with hopes of giving the impression the other was in his brothers shadow, not really seen as clear as the first born.....i think I think tooooo much.
