The light in this image came through, one very tall thin leaded window. approx 9 inches in width in the room behind this one. The light that was projected through to this room , was phenomenal . Taken at Lacock Abbey , Wiltshire
Was the light direct sunlight or ambient? What strikes me about the photo is that it is not simply light to dark. It is dark, light, dark. With clear detail displayed in each tonal place. Exposure does not sacrifice clarity. What a beauty of skill. A good eye. Your series is inspiring.
The light was ambient , Bobwed , Lacock Abbey is a beautiful , inspirational place , so calming , I enjoyed the time I spent there . I have some more images in this series , which i will post at a later date . Thank you also for your compliments .
