Wow... a beautiful shot, Tom. So unusual to see a fox in this pose, particularly in the presence of humans - I suspect you'd managed to creep up without alerting said creature to your whereabouts? Even at 300mm, you must have been reasonably close to get such a frame-filling, detailed shot. I can almost feel the fur of this beautiful animal. Such a shame we consider them pests - we get a lot of them here in Surrey, and I adore them. Your picture is one of the nicer wildlife shots I've seen in some time. Thanks for sharing it.

Well done, all I ever manage to get is their backside while running off. I did get barked at by one though, I had never heard it before or since. Never knew they could.Lovely shot, all techs spot on
