A welcome sight....

I have heard that the Honey Bee is on a decline all over the world due to many factors, CCD ( Colony Collapse Disorder) Chemicals, Global Warming & mystery viruses. So I was pleased to see in my garden, this little fella collecting pollen & nectar from a Rosemary bush. They play a huge part in natures chain, so I hope they can recover from this!

A very good macro capture. Hope he did not get upset he was getting his picture taken. Concur with your sentiments expressed in your narration. When I see them I am very careful to give them space. We need them badly.
