In my younger days I traveled the southwest - namely southern Nevada and Utah. I saw many homes left just standing empty with nothing but empty land around them. I recall seeing one made entirely of stone, with a tile roof. Obviously, some family worked hard to build it and expected to stay there a very long time. But, there it stood completely empty. Made you sort of wonder.......
