To me what makes this capture unique is its lighting. Under soft, light shading I can enjoy the fine details of the flower. Usually such captures are made under intense lighting which flattens out the details for the sake of coloration. Not this one. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enjoy this flower by your technique and composition. This goes into my favorites. Thank you.

Bob, I chose a flower that had some of the afternoon light just catching the centre & petal, I think it lifts the shot, those in the shade looked a little flat & dull. I think i am finally learning something!!
