Super sharp and a lovely sheen on their backs, like they are in their Sunday best

Should we put a black censored bar across it? Naw, it's nature, so it's okay.
When enlarged, I pan around trying to take it all in, and the empty space to top and right calls out for a lot of my attention. However, when I look at the thumbnail, everything seems just right, and the empty space calls attention to composition. I have a feeling that this picture's success depends a lot on viewing distance.
Fantastic super-macro. Credit some to the camera. But, most to the photographer for a great photo eye. Just any capture at this range would be enough. Waiting for a perfect moment makes it way more better. Thank you.
Excellent Viv, I agree with Alan on the shine, its so crisp and clear, vibrant colors and love the dof. See you in a few days!
~In His Love~ Maggi D For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Thank you all very much!!
Chris thank you for your comments on the crop. I never know the right crop and play around quite a bit with it - you make me feel better that there is more than one possibility!
Janice this is was done using the Tamron 90 macro lens....I love it!
Maggi see you soon! Viv
