Love how you brought the rail out from the lower left corner and follows left to right with that interesting angle in the railing. The white uprights sends the message that the fence line is the subject. The industrial view is just the background. Like the lined planks of the pier pointing towards the fence. Makes the point that the fence is the subject for the eye. Finely composed and nicely creative photo eye. Thank you.
Very nice indeed, Walter. And, while the focus is, of course, the board-walk and white barrier, there's lots of distant detail which inspires curiosity in the viewer. I like this one very much - though, as a friend pointed out, I seem to like perspective shots very much, and this falls into the better portion of that category :-)
