Not a great fan of these birds, as they can be a nuisance, especially pinching food off holiday makers, who happen to be walking around! I have been a victim to them, before.Food snatched straight out of my hand!
But they are a good bird to photograph, this particular day the water was a beautiful emerald green, which makes for a great background.
Very nice capture. Love that green sea. Something I've never seen. We have many here. Can't say they are tame enough to tray a food grab out of your hand. But, as you say they are pretty to photograph. They are also quite majestic in flight and gliding on the breeze.
