Invasion of the lensbaby bokeh spiderlings

Invasion of the lensbaby bokeh spiderlings

This was about the trickiest shoot i can remember for quite a while, i had to kneel in some bird shit to get the right angle for the colourful bokeh, and it was pretty tough to focus the old manual 2.0 lensbaby with macro x10 attachment with the wind blowing the little buggers all over the place too Smile

Eeek! They're coming to eat me!

Great shot, Jason. Would work in color or otherwise, but the yellow spiders against the blue background is brilliant.

Coincidentally, I just got my first Lensbaby yesterday. Should be posting a picture in a minute.

Great shot Jason! They are quite sweet...for arachnids! Smile

The colours in this are beautiful!! I have tried to capture these wee babies and it so hard as they are so small - the slightest wee zephyr and they are out of focus, so very well done with these guys!! Viv

This is way over my head. Just let me say I like the colors. No idea what a Lensbaby is. But, that is MY shortcoming. An outstanding capture. Thank you.

thanks everyone, was a very tricky but FUN shoot!

@chris, look forward to seeing your lensbaby work

@bobweb, look up lensbaby.com, i find it a challenging but fun experience, a bit of an antidote to the clinical efficiency of an auto-focus lens Smile
