Is that dog still running around with your camera? Well, he's doing a pretty good job. Tell him that this picture might do with slightly more contrast, but that the focus and composition are right on.

I like the capture. A very interesting perspective shot angle. I am sure this is very different than the usual. The soft contrasts and tones sets a mood, for me. Your capture is a much different one than might normally be made for such a subject. Very creative.

Nothing wrong with Springburn - it manufactured and exported great steam locomotives all over the world as you will know! Not looking so good these days though. I've got some ancoent B&W shots of Springburn (circa 1960's) which I must post on the blog - stand by.
