Reed Warbler...with his lunch!

Reed Warbler...with his lunch!

These little birds are so hard to get a shot of...I was walking through the reed beds and this one landed on the handrail, within a few seconds he was gone again. Smile

Have made the changes that Chris and Ken suggested. Smile

Beautiful capture by an obviously expert photographer. You know and handle your equipment well. Expert.

Stunning Donna. I've been hoping to get shots of our local Kingfishers like this and failed so far. Fabulous detail, very well done!!!!
There are lies, damnable lies and statistics.

Fortune favors the prepared, and you were obviously very prepared. Excellent shot. As one suggestion, a slight crop off the right would get rid of some green elements that are not distracting, but they also don't match the predominance of your bokeh. So you win if you do, win if you don't.

Donna, why the heck didn't you put this in POTW? Works out for me because it's not direct competition, but hey, it's a beautiful picture that deserves some more recognition. And I noticed you got rid of the green edge. Yay! Smile
