This is brilliant - its like a work of art you are to be congratualted for your vision and technique. The arrangement and form of the figures could not be better if posed. I can see this as a wall poster. 95 Degrees! wow that is hot hot no woder they were cooling off.

Maggi, this is very reminiscent of an old photo I saw years ago of a child playing in a stream of water spraying from a fire hydrant. In that photo, it was an example of selenium toning for black & white darkroom work. Wonderful that your timeless photo can pull me back through time and connect the points of memory.
