Taken on a recent trip to Mumbai, in the Sanjay Gandhi National Park - just before she disapeared into the jungle. I gone for the cheap b&w with coloured eyes shot - but it just about works better reducing the clutter from the green and brings out the amazing colour of the eyes.
why do you think b&w is cheap.I think the mood set in b&w can't be reproduced in color. All photo's are different some work in b&w and some don't.This one works well.I like the coloured eyes.I think the top half of the photo is a little over exposed.Possibly some burning in with ps will help.(long live b&w)

fdinaro, I say cheap - as I find alot of images work more easily in b&w, colour adds a lots of complexity, and b&w provides a direct connection. But, the coloured eyes eye theme is well used , but it works here - the lioness coat is a very similar colour in the colour version so they have less impact.
You're quite right the leaves are a little hot as they were in direct sunlight, I should put a grey filter over them to stop them distracting.
