A fine capture. But, must be honest with you. The crop is too narrow. I don't have the sense that they are racing. It seems more like chaos. If you had changed the angle and widen the perspective it may have given a different impression. More of an impression of a fine yatch race.
After studying it for sometime it dawned on me that the problem stems from the immediate foreground boat. If you compare it to the others is appears to be not in the race. The reason is because it is a different type of boat with a different sail set. The other boats seem to be swinging around it. This is why the other boats seem to be moving away at different angles to the center of the scene. This creates more the impression of a moment or incident of chaos than it does a smooth, and easily understood racing scene.
By changing the perspective or shot angle and widening the view this would have taken the different boat out of the center foreground of the photo. As it is, this boat dominates the capture and scene. While the other boats seem to be only of a supporting nature in the capture.
This is just my opinion and impression of your capture. I trust it does not offend you. It was not meant to offend.
