Love the fine, sharp colors. Makes for an easy read of the photo's message. Like the overhanging branches reaching down from above. Gives a feeling that I am about to be grasped by the tree. The shadow gives an eerie, spider like feel. The headstones lining the yard defines the shadow covered plot. All this supports the creepy feeling. A surprising feeling to have in broad daylight, rather than at night. Which all the more testifies to how well seen and revealing your capture is. Excellent.
Viewed your b & w. Must say it is exquisitely beautiful. It looks almost etched or carved; it is so sharp and precise. What beauty. Honestly, though I like the color better. Nothing at all wrong with the b/w. It is just that I sort of loose the enclosing branch affect in the b/w because the gray sky does not contrast well with the finely fingered gray branches. The color also, for some reason, seems to provide a better sense of depth. Was any of this your impression, too? What were your reasons to go with the color for posting? Thank you oh so much for allowing me to see the fine b/w of this.
