As a capture on its own it is an interesting eye feast. But, two things I would ask for as a viewer. First, it needs a perspective of scale. Basically, I'd like some context or scale object so I could know how large or small this is relatively. The second thing I would ask, chiefly because I am unfamiliar with the subject, is some narrative or explanation. But, simply as a capture it is a fine effort.
ok ........ this is a 4 feet tall statue having 4 hands carved from a single rock. the head has been removed accidentally......... as the architect is becoming old....... its hard to preserve the heritage now a days due to pollution........... the same is happening to Taj Mahal -- one of the seven wonders of the world.
Thank you. Hope you will understand that I usually revisit the posts where I have asked a question. But, not right away to give the photographer time to respond. Thank you for the interesting information. I hope your nation works to protect its beautiful heritage. As a photographer, I hope you assist in bringing this threat of distruction and permanent loss to others' awareness. Love you posts. Thank you.
Well, unfortunately, the explanation of the "head" being absent is not correct. Statues in Hindu temples all over ancient India were defaced by, in most cases , the invading muslim armies from the east as worshipping statues is forbidden in Islam. I am not an authority on this but do have some understanding of the history of the region.
