Close to brilliant. I love the juxtaposition of the foreground/background objects but I would like a see a little more air between them, ie further apart. This would make for a better composition IMO. I think a little more contrast would enhance the drama and most important and horror of horrors Your horizon is not horizontal. Aaaaaaaaaargh! A very interesting perspective of an unusual object. At first I thought it had a tint affect applied. And waxed back and forth on it. But, inconclusion it does seem to have been tinted a bit. The interesting thing to me about it is that the tint in this case is a believable element since the overcast coupled with the similarly shaded elements tends to this affect anyway. An exceptionally realistic capture and edit. Excellent. I like it.
After posting my comment, I read Mald's. Funny, I did not even notice that the horizon was not perfect. But, honestly given the fact that the capture is not squared to the beach's water line it does not seem that important. However, Mald is the master. So, you'd better take his advice over mine.
Interesting shot - but if I was a judge like Mald I would like to see more distance/separation between the objects and the horizon straight - but these Judges are always looking for perfection!
