Amazing trees! Have you taken one with in colour with a van going down the road? This is a great shot, but out of the two I prefer the colour one.

Thanks everyone! Yes, Janice you are quite right! This is from another occasion at the same place. Cat it is just a desaturated RAW file so there is probably a wee tinge of colour - then the levels tweaked a little. I forgot about this place for the trees comp..... Lol!! Viv
Sorry I am late to the party. Looks like it drew a nice turn out. Not a big fan of b/w as wire will testify. But, I like this one. Its very many tree branches stand out well and form an intricate web over the interesting lane. Don't recall your color post. But, I find this one very satisfying and interesting to look at. A very nice capture.
With respect to your remark that it takes awhile for a scene to sink-in before you photograph it, I can relate. I have the same problem. On my walks in the early evening is when I do most of my captures. At this time I am folding up the days events and placing them in the file cabinet of my mind. Many interesting scenes float right by me only to be recalled later when I ask myself why I did not photograph them. I always carry my camera on my walks. Unfortunately, the scenes I recall are incidents; not static shots. When I pass them by they are gone forever. So, don't feel too bad Viv. You are not alone.
