Favoured by Cézanne. I followed his walk from his house up to the mountain where he painted over 80 versions of this mountain. I have nothing but admiration for Cézanne who believed he never captured the beauty of this magnificent mountain. I have tried too. Wonderful light - the bigger version on your website really does justice to this - the details are amazing - the sort of picture you could spend hours lookig at. Cezanne would have been proud of this.
