Stevie, I think this is a dynamic picture. Love the shadows echoed in the brickwork and the dramatic lighting, texture and perspective. B/W treatment good but your horizons tend to be not horizontal. Perhaps also lose the detail on the extreme right with the diagonals. Cheers, Malmalsmith.com
Noted Guv'nor try as i might i just cant get the horizons correct! laziness possibly and almost certainly a lack of technique.I also agree about those diagonals i've only just seen em!
Don't worry about the horizon slant. That feature has become your trademark. Sort of like your creative stamp. Artists break the rules. Otherwise, they'd just be snap shooters. Very much like the curved parallels of the railing, shadowing, deck edge and stone mortar joints. Nice visual affect. Beautiful ocean capture, too. Well done.
