I think this image would have been more powerful had the woman been placed on the left side of the frame. It feels a bit crowded with her being on the right and facing the right at the same time.
Lets just hope she doesn't this this picture!
The clarity is nice, where you trying to get the shadow (left) and the reflection (bottom) into the frame?
Yes, she looked up and saw me aiming the camera at her then looked down again and I snapped the shot as the first wavelet of the incoming tide washed around her.
I placed her in the corner and facing out of the frame for two reasons. Firstly so I could include her shadow and reflection and secondly because I felt it increased the sense of her loneliness.
