I have never been to London so I do not know the neighborhood. In viewing this photo I am perplexed because I don't know what the focal point is. Can you explain what it is?

It is a "record" shot of a very old London street, now likely to have been "improved" or "gentrified"


But do look up "Hanbury Street" in Google - it does have a significance as do my other pictures of Mitre Square !

Is that Reggie Kray??? Great nostalgia piece... Wikipedia mentions Bud Flanagan, the Salvation Army, and Jack the Ripper all having associations with this street!
